Beats has officially launched the Powerbeats Pro 2, its most advanced wireless earphones to date, designed to enhance athletic performance with cutting-edge features.
The new model introduces Heart Rate Monitoring, improved sound quality, extended battery life,= and upgraded call performance. Notable additions include Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), Transparency mode, Adaptive EQ, and wireless charging.
Available for purchase now, Powerbeats Pro 2 comes in four striking colours – Jet Black, Quick Sand, Hyper Purple and Electric Orange – at a retail price of $249.99 via Apple’s website.
Tested by nearly 1,000 athletes, the earphones feature a reinforced nickel titanium alloy earhook for improved flexibility, grip and comfort. Weighing 20% less than its predecessor, the Powerbeats Pro 2 provides a secure fit. Its sweat and water resistance (IPX4-rated) makes it durable enough to withstand intense training conditions. Additionally, an extra-small ear tip size has been introduced for a more customised fit.
Powering up to 45 hours with its charging case, Powerbeats Pro 2 delivers 10 hours of playback per charge. A five-minute Fast Fuel charge provides an additional 90 minutes of use. The case is now 33% smaller and supports wireless charging. Environmentally conscious, the packaging is made entirely from recycled fiber and sustainable materials.
To promote Powerbeats Pro 2, Beats has enlisted sports legends LeBron James, Lionel Messi and Shohei Ohtani for its “Listen to Your Heart” campaign. The campaign emphasises the powerful link between passion, performance, and perseverance, mirroring the earphones’ ability to fuel athletic excellence.
