Beats and Nike have unveiled their first-ever hardware partnership with the Powerbeats Pro 2 – Nike Special Edition. Marking a notable departure in design, Beats has—for the first time—introduced a co-branded look on its earbuds, placing the iconic Nike Swoosh on the right earbud while retaining its signature “b” logo on the left.

This limited-run release combines Nike’s vibrant “Volt” aesthetic with the advanced audio engineering of the Powerbeats Pro 2, creating a product that sits at the intersection of high-performance sport and contemporary streetwear. The special edition arrives housed in a matte black charging case flecked with Volt detailing, with Nike’s “JUST DO IT” slogan revealed inside the lid when opened. While the exterior introduces a fresh visual identity, the technology inside remains focused on delivering top-tier performance.

Commenting on the collaboration, Chris Thorne described it as more than a simple redesign, framing it instead as a meeting point between two brands synonymous with athletic culture and innovation. The inclusion of the Swoosh on Beats hardware, he noted, reflects a shared ethos and celebrates figures like LeBron James who represent both worlds.

To support the launch, Beats enlisted longtime ambassador LeBron James for a lighthearted campaign titled “Keep Your Head in The Game.” In the spot, he takes to the golf course with less-than-polished skills, tuning out playful criticism from pro golfer Tom Kim and actors Lionel Boyce and Travis Bennett, and instead embracing the experience on his own terms.
