In the third edition of our new feature on Apple Music’s UK Rap playlist, we take a look at new entries from 67’s Dimzy, legendary DJ Kenny Allstar, Nottingham hailing artist HEX and a highly anticipated new single from Dave.

Dimzy– Made It Back (feat. Headie One)

First up is “Made It Back”, a fiery collaboration with drill superstar Headie One from 67’s Dimzy. The two rap about money and waps in the wavy track taken from Dimzy’s new solo project Dim the Lights. The mixtape features a reunion with a few of his fellow 67 members including Monkey, ASAP and SJ as well as collabs with big names from the grime and UK rap scene including Chip, Aystar, Youngs Teflon and K-Trap. With no visuals yet to the Dimzy and Headie One link up, check out the visuals to another song off Dim the Lights, “Done out Ere”, which you can see here on GRM Daily.

Kenny Allstar – Tryna Do Me (feat. SL)

Another new track on the playlist is “Tryna Do Me” featuring SL taken from Kenny Allstar’s new project, Block Diaries. “Tryna Do Me” showcases SL’s signature flow and the song is a standout track from the new LP. The Croydon artist raps about his desire to focus on and prioritise his work over girls in the lit track. Block Diaries features collaborations with massive names including 67, Headie One, Not3s, Suspect and Hardy Caprio. There are no visuals to “Tryna Do Me” yet but you can stream the entire Block Diaries project, here on GRM Daily.

HEX – Stunna

Another new entry on the UK Rap playlist is the turnt up new track “Stunna” from HEX. The autotune heavy single from the artist is produced by Da Beatfreakz who have recently worked with Giggs, Mr Eazi and Shakka. “Stunna” follows the release of Hex’s lit track “$antana $mooth” at the beginning of this year. “Stunna” touches on the perils of mixing love and fame. Check out the visuals to “Stunna” here on GRM Daily.

Dave – Funky Friday (feat. Fredo)

Following a short hiatus and intense teasing of new music on social media, Dave finally appeased fans with the release of “Funky Friday” featuring West London’s own Fredo. The two shell over the slow beat produced by Dave and both rappers prove their flair for constructing bars and punchline filled lyrics. Dave and Fredo go back and forth over the track and rap about girls, shopping and money. Check out the lit and aesthetically pleasing visuals to “Funky Friday” here on GRM Daily where Dave and Fredo chill in a mansion and flex with exotic animals.
