In the second edition of our new feature taking a look at Apple Music’s UK Rap playlist, we have new records from Kojo Funds, Skendgo & AM, Young T & Bugsey and Mina Rose.
Kojo Funds – High Grade
Fresh off his new mixtape Golden Boy, Kojo makes the playlist with his track “High Grade”. The upbeat tune from the King of Afroswing is one of the highlights from Kojo Funds’ debut project which features the biggest names in UK music including Maleek Berry, Raye, Abra Cadabra, Giggs and Bugzy Malone. Skengdo x AM – Pitbull ft Chief Keef
Up next is an across the pond collaboration between one of the biggest names in UK drill and a pioneer of the Chicago drill sound. Skengdo x AM are joined by Chief Keef for their fiery collaboration, “Pitbulls”. The track merges the UK and US drill scenes and proves that they are able to marry together well. After several teaser posts on instagram, the official video featuring Skengdo, AM and Chief Keef was finally released. Check out the visuals to “Pitbulls” here.
Young T and Bugsey – En Route
Another new entry on Apple Music’s UK Rap playlist comes from Nottingham hailing duo Young T and Bugsey. Both artists show their synergy on the lit turn up track entitled “En Route”. The new track from the two is the perfect track for lit motives and as the soundtrack to fun times. The visuals reflect this and you can watch them here exclusively on GRM Daily.
Dubz – Badman (feat. Krept and Konan and Tiggs Da Author)
Another track that makes the playlist is the fiery track by Dubz, “Badman” featuring Krept and Konan and Tiggs Da Author. The tune is fresh off of the soundtrack to the film The Intent 2: The Come Up that stars Ghetts, Krept and Konan and Adam Deacon. Dubz, Krept and Konan and Tiggs Da Author all shell on the track that ties in with the themes of the film.
