A storage unit owned by Beyoncé has been broken into and over £725,000 worth of goods were stolen.
TMZ reports that over the space of a week, three of Beyoncé’s storage facilities were broken into by burglars who took several items including handbags and dresses.
Handbags, kid’s toys and personal photographs belonging to one of the artist’s stylist were also taken.
TMZ said that Beyoncé’s Parkwood Entertainment company rented the storage on her behalf.
The multiple Grammy Award winning artist is the latest celebrity to be targeted with a storage space burglary.
Pop star Miley Cyrus was recently a victim and had personal photographs and clothes taken from her.
The news comes after it was announced that Beyoncé has become the most awarded female artist in Grammy history with 28 tropies.
Speaking on her achievement, Beyoncé said:
“As an artist, I believe it’s my job, and all of our jobs to reflect the times, and it’s been such a difficult time so I wanted to uplift, encourage, and celebrate all of the beautiful black queens and kings that continue to inspire me and inspire the whole world.”
“This is so overwhelming, I’ve been working my whole life since nine years old and I can’t believe this happened on such a magical night.”
The star also recently revealed that she is “slowing down” after two decades in the industry.
