Affectionately named after the artist, Big Narstie the horse has been hailed after landing a gamble in the 7f maiden.

The horse had good odds of 4-1 and later 5-2 and was ridden by Hayley Turner.

Richard Spencer trained the horse and said, “The owner Phil Cunningham’s son Aidan contacted Big Narstie and told him to back him so hopefully he was on. He came into the yard to see the horse last year and enjoyed his visit, and has spent some time in Aidan’s recording studio in London.”

Taking in the news on Twitter, the real Big Narstie retweeted a gif of himself dancing.

Affectionately calling the horse “Rasta Horse”, Narstie tweeted, “My horse won today first ever Rasta horse big up @rebelracing2016.”

After achieving today’s win, the racehorse is tipped to take a tour of France.
