It has today been announced that billionaire banker, David Rockefeller, has died.
The mogul was worth an estimated three billion dollars and was heralded as “America’s last great international business statesman” and one of the most influential figures in finance.
Rockefeller family spokesperson Fraser P. Seitel has today released a statement saying that he died in his sleep at his home in New York.
In his later years in life, he had reportedly undergone seven heart transplants in order to prolong his life. At the ripe old age of 101, it was finally time to say good bye.
The Rockefeller family was of course also the primary influence and namesake behind Jay Z’s all-encompassing company Roc-a-fella, which has included a label, a clothing line, a sports agency and plenty more over the years.
