Blanco has been quietly proving time and time again why he is one of the most unique rappers in London at the moment. From his distinct lyrical style which infuses anime and football references with ease, to his eclectic selection of instrumentals, Blanco refuses to be put in a box.
This sentiment appears to be continuing. “Cerebus” was originally released earlier this year, with two massive features from Loski and K Trap respectively. It was a banger, but arguably without the sonically progressive twist that we’ve come to expect from Blanco. This alternative version amends that. Removing the features and incorporating an expertly welded beat transition, it’s no wonder that this was actually the original version of “Cerebus”.
Be sure to keep streaming Blanco’s project City of God from last year, and check out the alternative version of “Cerebus” above.
