Boiler Room are set to unveil an all new virtual reality music venue which hopes to take fans to “raves halfway across the world.”

The online music broadcasting platform is working in conjunction with Inception to create the VR space, which will stream to hundreds of cities around the world.

The system will be used for fans watching at home via headsets to get a real experience of what it’s like in a “sweaty rave” from across the globe, according to founder Blaise Bellville.

It’s set to begin running as soon as early 2017 and to begin with, is likely to only be available on Inception apps. They are however talking to various other technology partners.
