Possibly one of the most underrated rappers in the game, Bonkaz is back doing what he does best with another freestyle, this time it’s over Drake’s latest track “Nice for What”.
The South-London based rapper has even received a seal of approval from Drake himself, posting a screenshot of the message on his Instagram. Taking the visuals back to basics, surrounded by trees in a camouflage jacket, the video gives the listeners even more of a reason to listen to the message behind the lyrics.
“Nice for What” has been highly praised since the release, with a sample of Big Tymer’s “Get Your Roll On” and a video celebrating successful women such as Jourdan Dunn, Letita Wright and Rashida Jones. Although, Bonkaz freestyle does portray a different meaning than Drake’s original whilst speaking of the hood and drugs, it still remains a very strong freestyle.
