There’s a new wave of talent emerging; an underground shift in soundscape, energy and creative diversity coming from a selection of underground artists. Underground – but totally undeniable in their own right.
#NextGen10 is a selection of our favourite independent new generation artists on the come up, and whilst you might not be familiar with some of the names on the calendar, you won’t regret paying attention.
The final entry to #NextGen10 is Bonkaz. A pioneer of the forward thinking ‘New Generation’ movement, the Croydon rapper is probably one of the rawest and most well rounded artists to emerge from the underground as of late. Showing no creative boundaries, Bonkaz thrives off of diversity. His eclectic musical style and cult following means the release of a love song followed by grimey turn up track wouldn’t be unusual, or overlooked.
For this #NextGen10 track, Bonkaz delivers us a demo version of “Way Too Much”, a follow up to “Pretty Brown Eyes”. The final version of the track will land on his next project in a couple of months time.
Keep up with his journey via Twitter @officialBonkaz.
