Boris Johnson Has Been Moved Out Of Intensive Care

Downing Street has confirmed prime minister Boris Johnson has now been moved out of intensive care.

A spokesperson at No 10 confirmed the news saying: “The prime minister has been moved this evening from intensive care back to the ward, where he will receive close monitoring during the early phase of his recovery.

“He is in extremely good spirits.”

He currently remains in hospital where he will stay until he has made a full recovery.

News of the PM’s improving condition comes days after he was taken into intensive care after suffering persistent symptoms of coronavirus.

COVID-19 continues to affect the UK, as the infection has resulted in the death of 7,248 people in the country so far.
