After announcing the project last week, Burna Boy has shared his new album Twice As Tall.
Serving as Burna Boy’s 5th studio album, Twice As Tall contains 15 original tracks including his recently released single “Wonderful”, as well as fresh, new material.
While Burna does go it alone vocally on much of the LP, he does enlist the likes of Youssou N’Dour, Naughty By Nature, Chris Martin, Sauti Sol and the people’s champ, Stormzy. Also contributing to the tape is music mogul Diddy who executive produced Twice As Tall and brought in the likes of Anderson .Paak and Timbaland to assist on the production of “Alarm Clock” and “Wetin Dey Sup” respectively.
Speaking on the album and Burna Boy, Diddy said: “He, as every artist, he wants his music to be heard by the world — he doesn’t care about crossing over. You know, he’s not trying to get hot. He’s not, like, ‘I want to be a big pop star’ — he’s already a star. He wants his music to be heard, his message, his people.”
