The Butterz boys Elijah & Skilliam alongside Footsie and D Double E have reincarnated the Newham Generals/Wiley classic “Scars” and given it an official video, the outcome of which basically seems to sum up grime in 2 minutes & 11 seconds.
Rather than using the obvious technique of putting the artists in the video (yeah, that overrated idea), the directors opted to use old school Nokia phones to represent each MC – Wiley being that cool, rounded 6630, Footsie the 7610 (you know that one that’s pointy on opposite corners) and D Double E the little square one that everyone wanted (7600).
It basically just had us wanting to play Snake and watch a Risky Roadz DVD to be honest. And before you ask- yes, we did have to Google them to remember the model numbers. But we knew what we were looking for. If your girl don’t know about these phones, she’s too young for you bro.
