After teasing us with numerous singles over the past year and a half, Cashh has finally gifted us with his hugely-anticipated project, Return Of The Immigrant.

Housing 23 tracks, this record is an extensive body of work from Cashh who fuses rap and dancehall to showcase his versatility, while also shining a light on his Jamaican roots that he always embraces to the fullest.

As well as featuring already released tracks such as “Trench Baby”, “Wag1” with WSTRN and “Pounds & Dollars” featuring M1llionz, we’re also treated to brand-new material, with highlights including “Miggle Of The Night”, “Mi G Dem” and “10 On It (Remix)” with Backroad Gee and Ambush.

Like many of the skits on Return Of The Immigrant, the title of the project is inspired by Cashh’s well-documented immigration case where he was deported to Jamaica in 2014, before being permitted to return to the UK in 2019.

“I poured 7 years worth of blood, sweat and tears into this project,” Cashh said of the tape. “At the pinnacle of my commercial success in March of 2014, I was removed from the UK back to my birth country of Jamaica and had to start from scratch.

“This is what inspired the title, as this is a reality many have faced in different ways under so many unjust circumstances, so to express my experiences and emotions through my art means everything to me.”
