A transition we were all waiting for. From the BBC Studios to Beats, Charlie Sloth has finally confirmed his new rap show due to air on Beats and Apple this month where his ‘Fire in the Booth’ series of freestyles can resume.
The former BBC presenter took to his socials today to announce the move.
Ex BBC colleague Zane Lowe who relocated stations back in 2015 tweeted:
In an interview featuring the pair, Charlie explained: “With the Apple Music and Beats 1 platform I feel that I offer something to these artists in the UK that no other platform can offer at the moment.”
Known for showcasing the best out of UK rap and hip-hop, Charlie also has all the intentions on carrying on his Fire in the Booth segment of the show, which has been running for a decade now.
Entering 2019 with a fresh surrounding, we’re hoping to see bigger and better names if possible. Charlie’s first show airs on January 19 (12 p.m. PST/ 8 P.M. in the U.K.) and will be repeated the next day at 2 P.M.
There is no excuse to miss out!
