He’s teased us with a few singles from the project over the past few months and now Che Lingo has treated us to his debut album, The Worst Generation.

Clocking in at just under 40 minutes in length, Che Lingo’s first ever LP is comprised of all the elements which have proved popular with fans in recent years – substance, smoothness and refined lyricism.

The 12-track project includes the recently released singles “My Block”, “South”, “Dark Days” with Kojey Radical and “Black Ones” featuring the legendary Ghetts. More guest appearances come from Rachel Chinouriri and her smooth vocals on “Perfect Wounds”, as well as Samm Henshaw on the closing title track.

Announcing the project last month, Che said: “This has genuinely been the hardest time of my entire life creating this work, from my injury to family/friends passing away, the #BLM protests and COVID-19 lockdowns, to illnesses and mental struggles with myself and the world as it stands (no excuses just reflections).

“I cannot put it to anything other than God and the strength/passion I was granted that’s allowed me to persevere through these very trying times but thankfully we did and THE ALBUM IS DONE!”
