It may be his 30th birthday today (November 26) but the legend that is Chip has gifted us with news of his forthcoming mixtape, Snakes & Ladders.
The north London native took to social media to announce the project, writing: “HBD ME CHAPTER 30 […] MY GIFT TO MY SUPPORTERS IS MY TAPE WILL BE AVAILABLE TO PRE ORDER FROM 6PM TODAY.
“‘SNAKES & LADDERS’ 29.01.21. THE MARATHON CONTINUES. ALL GLORY TO GOD. LOVE YOU ALL.”
Due for release on January 29 2021, Snakes & Ladders will follow up from Chip’s joint album with Skepta and Young Adz, Insomnia, which dropped earlier this year.
Chip’s last solo project came in 2018 in the form of TEN10 which included appearances from the likes of Jme, Frisco, B Young and more.
While the tracklist and collaborations on Snakes & Ladders haven’t been revealed just yet, we can expect Chip’s recent and iconic track with Dizzee Rascal and Jme, “Ignite”, to feature on the mixtape.
