Tupac was recently inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and over the festive period has found himself somewhere even more unlikely.
Imagine going to your Christmas Carol Service and suddenly realise they’re bussin’ out some classic Tupac Shakur. Confused? So are we… but this is exactly what happened in a Church in Sri Lanka.
At a service at Colombo’s Nelum Pokuna Theatre (which FYI is one of Sri Lanka’s biggest services for Christmas), organisers had realised that they had mistakenly printed the lyrics to 2Pac’s “Hail Mary” in their programme instead of the Catholic prayer of the same name.
Lyrics included “I ain’t a killer but don’t push me/Revenge is like the sweetest joy next to getting pussy“, a far cry from the well known hymn.
