Revered North West London R&B vocalist Col3trane has finally shared his long-awaited debut album, Lush Life.
Acting as the successor to his 2018 mixtapes Tsarina and BOOT, 2019’s Heroine, as well as last year’s 3rd Fountain: Demos EP, Lush Life (an initialism for Love Until Something Hurts) is a sharp, 12-track soul-focused outing.
The album was supported by the leading single “Logan Paul”, released early last month and 2021’s summery, pop-infused “Californication (Feels Like I’m Falling In Love)”.
Notable highlights include the two Flatbush Zombies-assisted cuts “OK” and “Plus Minus” – with the latter of the two songs just featuring Erick the Architect – as they feature a cool, indie rap-soaked atmosphere.
