As two of the most outspoken celebrities on social media clash, Conor McGregor has called out 50 Cent for a celebrity fight.
After 50 Cent took to social media to troll McGregor over his bus attack and his loss to Khabib Nurmagomedov, the UFC star’s having none of it.
50 Cent was previously involved in the pre-fight build-up to the McGregor-Mayweather clash and now he could be taking on the Irishman himself. McGregor’s response came after 50 posted a mock-up picture of Conor on Britney Spears’ body from that famous 2007 breakdown which saw her lash out a car with an umbrella.
In a press conference in Moscow, McGregor responded to the post as he told the audience he’d like to fight 50 Cent.
As he spoke about the rapper he told them: “Throughout the course of the Mayweather build-up I used him as a tool, a promotional tool on the free also[…] But then after he began a little tirade against me on social media, particularly Instagram where he’d make these memes about me constantly.”
He went on to reveal that 50 has since blocked him on Instagram before saying: “So I’d like to have a knock-off with 50 yeah, so if you’re listening 50 – let’s get it going bud.”
McGregor’s desire to fight 50 Cent comes days after the fighter announced the date for his big UFC return.
