Crimes Against Creation is the new album from the talented London hailing artist Coops.
The eight-track album is packed with detailed lyrics on personal subjects as his laid-back yet informative lyrics take you on a journey as you listen. His casual yet engaging flow gives off nostalgic vibes as the album sounds as if it was taken straight out of the 90’s.
Coops once said that “I want to be inspired by the greats, rather than what’s current” and on the album’s first song “Boom Biddy Bye” Coops backs up his point as he delivers some raw lyrics: “Blind if you haven’t noticed, I never came here for the showbiz” and “F**** all these wack MC’s rapping with their lisps.”
Each track sounds soulful as Coops’ style, unique flow, and choice of instrumentals has the ability to attract any Hip-Hop veteran or current day Hip-Hop lover. His variety of musical skills ended up with him supporting none other than Nas at his sell-out concert at London’s O2 last year.
