After recently linking up on tour, the legend Craig David and rising R&B star Nippa have come together to create “G Love”!
With Craig David having more than 20 years of experience in music and Nippa being an emerging singer, “G Love” is the fusion of two generations and it’s a collab which works seamlessly.
The Ben Smith-directed visuals mirror the sleek feel of the single and capture Craig and Nippa dressed to the nines while going back to back with their vocals.
“G Love” is due to feature on Craig David’s upcoming album, 22, and follows on from his recent ‘Hold That Thought’ UK arena tour where Nippa joined him as a supporting act.
“I’ve loved watching Nippa grow over the years in his own unique, organic way,” Craig says of Nippa. “His talent as a songwriter as well as an artist is very special. It’s rare that you come across artists who you feel are paving the way for a new era of R&B and Nippa is doing just that.
“Such a great vibe working with him on this song as we both were able to dive into what made us get in to R&B in the first place.”
