Trawling around Hackney and dying to pee? You’re probably going to have to hold it in as the borough’s council is set to trial new ‘anti-pee walls’.
The walls contain a liquid-repelling coating that will splash the impending urine all over the individual – so you’re better off relieving yourself in your jeans.
Popular drinking locations in Shoreditch and Dalston are set to be targeted by the council as they look to ease the constant waterfall upon walls and pavements.
It’s believed that Hackney Council will be the first London borough to test out the walls in a bid to eradicate the £100,00 they currently spend on the issue.
So be warned and think twice before urinating in the borough as you may end up looking and feeling a little bit moist.
