This week’s #CREPCHECK brings you three duo releases from Nike, Adidas and ASICS. Both pairs in each pack are so buff you’d be mad if you don’t cop both.
Firstly we have the Nike Air ‘string’ pack, in the form of an Air Max one and Air Huarache. The Air Max One comes in a mostly suede ‘string’ coloured upper, with embossed elephant hide panelling in Desert Camo, extended from the toecap to the heel counter. The Huarache’s upper features mainly the Desert Camo elephant hide, with the ‘string’ colour on the Huarache’s plastic heel support. The shoes are finished with Ghost Green accenting, usually a garish addition to any shoe but Nike weave the bright colour effortlessly into this pack, and use it to shape the tonal colourway. Get a pair of both now from END., Urban Industry or Nike.
Secondly we have another double from Adidas; Tubular Dooms in Triple Pink or Triple Black. The now-iconic shoe features a sock that stretches to cling to your feet, and a soft suede heel strap that anchors the foot while maintaining maximum comfort. Finally we bring you the ASICS Tiger Japanese Textile pack, featuring two classic ASICS silhouettes tied together with the unusual edition of white polka-dots on denim panelling, dyed indigo to celebrate the Japanese textile industry.
