For this week’s crepcheck we round up our favourite collection of sneaks, all inspired by naturally occuring textures.
Nike have just released details of one half of their upcoming Diamond pack, released on Thursday 12th November. The pairs’ uppers are inspired by the simultaneously rough and smooth texture of snakeskin, and is a women’s exclusive unless you’ve got tiny feet. The Nike Blazer Mid Diamondback White comes in all white, with black Nike branding on the tongue and heel tab. They are made with autoclave construction which fuses the mid and outsole for more durability.
Get yours this Thursday from Size? and Nike for ~£155.
With the Adidas ZX Flux Xeno pack doing so well, they carried the innovative design onto another mid-height silhouette. The Pro Model Xeno pack comes in a Core Black or Light Onix’ colourway, both featuring the Xeno diamond-shaped pattern on the upper, inspired by the snake. Get them on the 14th of November from Footasylum, or on the 1st of December from Adidas and Sneakersnstuff.
Last but not least, we couldn’t do this week’s crepcheck without a mention of the newest edition to the Adidas Yeezy 350 Boost family. The ‘Moonrock’ is inspired by a place as unreachable as Kanye’s ego, and continues the silhouette’s tight lightweight upper. The sneaks are released on Saturday 14th November at 10am. Get yours from END., Offspring, Adidas and Sneakersnstuff amongst other retailers.
