Cristiano Ronaldo wins FIFA’s Ballon d’Or 2014

Today in the world of football nearly all eyes and ears were peeled to see who would be taking home FIFA 2014 Ballon d’Or, and for a second consecutive year Cristiano Ronaldo has been crowned the worlds best football player.

The Portuguese footballing star was presented his award by the 2003 runner up and football genius, Thierry Henry, who retired from the sport last month.

This would be the third time Ronaldo has been awarded the Ballon D’or, he had previously won it 2008 then after 5 years he retained his title as the worlds best footballer twice in two years.

Second place went to Argentinas Lionel Messi and 3rd was awarded to Germany’s top class keeper Manuel Neuer.

Ronaldo scored 60 goals and won the Champions League, Super Cup, Copa Del Rey and FIFA Club World Cup.
