Brixton rapper D38’s latest single, “Never Me”, is here, paired with some fresh visuals too!
On the song, D38 comes through with diamond-shattering bars, skippy flows and impeccable breath control. Lyrically, he reminds us why he’s one of the best in the drill scene as his bars paint a picture of integrity, as the rapper reminds us of the things he’d never do.
In the video — housed by the legendary Tim & Barry — he can be seen spitting in numerous locations supported by his entourage. Donning his signature bally, the spitter raps atop a derelict building like the South London Batman.
“Never Me” follows D38’s two-part Hardest Bars freestyle from back in August and July’s introspective banger “Anonymized”.
