It wouldn’t be true to a Rockstar lifestyle if you’re not fighting off a zombie apocalypse at one point in the career, or at least that’s what DaBaby and Roddy Ricch seem to think with their latest drop of cinematic visuals.

The official music video to accompany the track which recently notched its fourth non-consecutive week at Number One on the Rolling Stone Top 100 Songs chart alongside racking up 27.6 million streams and more than 13,000 downloads, sees the pair tackle an action-packed array of the living dead whilst being heavily armed and stuck in the woods.

As if Coronavirus wasn’t a big enough pandemic to be worried about, the Reel Goats-directed work of art connotes a snippet taken straight from the box office. Both DaBaby and Ricch unite to perform their collaboration in an open-field surrounded by guitar strumming zombies in motion.

Between the lines of the seven-minute movie is a significant, deeper meaning, shown towards the latter. Not only are the two using their platform to fight back against instrument-wielding monsters but to speak on wider issues such as Black Lives Matter. Five minutes into the song, a switch up sees a section dedicated to DaBaby’s “BLM Remix” released earlier in June, followed by the song “Amazing Grace” and a credited behind-the-scenes compilation for completion.

A thrilling body of work, both complementing the banger and addressing the importance of systematic racism and police brutality, you definitely don’t want to miss out on watching this one above.
