Tricked into signing a record deal that involved way more than what he had agreed on, he then becomes a puppet that cannot free itself from the strings.
With his mouth sewn, he is unable to resist the changes the record label applies to his life, image and career. He is now wearing new flashy clothes and he is forcefully following the “formula for a hit”.
Having lost his artistic identity and trying to fight back, people pour alcohol down his throat and push him into doing drugs in order to follow the instructions.
