Dapper Live, the live entertainment arm of Dapper Group, has been officially recognised by Guinness World Records for setting a new record for the largest orchestra ever assembled for an Afrobeats concert.
The milestone was achieved during Trench Symphony: The Dapper Live Experience, a landmark orchestral Afrobeats showcase staged on December 16, 2025, at the Balmoral Eko Convention Centre inside the Federal Palace Hotel on Victoria Island. The ambitious production brought together more than 80 orchestral musicians performing live alongside a selection of standout Afrobeats artists.
With the achievement now formally verified by Guinness World Records, the event represents a significant milestone not just for Dapper Live, but for the wider Afrobeats movement — establishing a new global standard for large-scale orchestral interpretations of contemporary African popular music.
