A dating expert has laid out her uncompromising conditions for starting a family, a set of expectations that she admits may stir controversy.
Content creator Jenny – who charges people up to £50 for one-on-one consultancy about dating – is clear about her prerequisites for parenthood, emphasising the significant sacrifices involved in creating human life. She firmly expressed her stand, stating on TikTok, “I’m not putting myself through all that for free. Sorry not sorry.”
Residing in London, the 23 year old insists on marriage before motherhood, including a clause in a prenuptial agreement to safeguard her child in the event of infidelity.
Not mincing her words, she details her financial expectations, stating her intention not to work and requiring her partner to earn £250,000 annually per child. “I am not here to suffer,” she asserted.
Her conditions extend beyond financial aspects, expecting her partner to cover post-birth therapy, a personal trainer and what she terms a “mummy makeover.”
Addressing the physical toll of childbirth, she reasoned, “My body is going to be destroyed internally and externally. I think this is a given.” Acknowledging her limitations after childbirth, Jenny envisions a six-month housekeeper and a subsequent weekly cleaner.
Acknowledging her preference for sleep, she anticipates hiring a night nurse to assist with nighttime baby care. Her expectations culminate in what she terms a “push present,” suggesting a gift that provides security for her and the child’s future, such as an apartment, car, or business.
Defending her stance, Jenny asserted, “I feel like as a woman, I would be sacrificing a lot, so I don’t think this list is too much to ask.”
