Reflecting on the birth of the track on Instagram, Dejour wrote: “So would u believe that this song was inspired by a girl In my dm. She was 19 and me nu too gu young gal enu hence the “soon 20” the song made me change my mind abt the young gal part tho.
“I recorded it in my room, dogs barking in the background etc, weh dem know bout determination?
Anyways I mixed and mastered it myself Cz I couldn’t afford atm. Now with over 1million streams n av sum bwoy gal a scream SEXY19.”
