Desperados have challenged 3 teams of creative mavericks to take on challenges in their cities, judged by Desperados and the four industry mentors.
The creative teams from Bristol, London and Manchester have been set the task of bravely overcoming perceived limitations and conventions and get their cities (and eventually the whole of the UK) to sit up and take notice.
During the extent of the competition each team will face multiple challenges to prove they’re the most able to complete these and take over their city!
THE THIRD CITY CHALLENGE
After the second city challenge where each team (London, Manchester & Bristol) was challenged by the mentors to make sure their cities know who they are, the three teams of creative mavericks were challenged to put on one of the biggest parties their cities had ever seen!
Here’s 3 ways to throw a sick party:
1. Throw a skatepark party
Rain City Movement held their party in Manchester in Projekts skatepark, the first one of its kind in this location and was one-in-one-out most of the night!
2. Create an LED live ceiling
Shifted Spaces did something that’s never been seen before, using a crazy live LED ceiling in Bristol.
3. Smoke map a organ in a old church
The London team The Big Smoke mapped the giant organ in the Round Chapel in Hackney for their projection mapped visuals and had P Money and Jammz down to perform with Plastician their City Hack track “London Living”.
