Dagenham legend Devlin has provided us with a brand-new single titled “Popular Fashion”, taken from his upcoming album.
Devlin made waves in the noughties with his hard-hitting grime sound but he provides us with a more drill-infused style on this track while maintaining his punchiness.
With lyrics such as “I don’t want to replicate no one that came before me, in my brain from very young, I was on my own thing”, Devlin rejects trend following on “Popular Fashion” and lets us know he is and always has been in a lane of his own.
“Popular Fashion” is set to feature on Devlin’s highly-anticipated album, Eyes For The Blind, which is out on February 11th.
