South London duo Dips & Lo-Wu have announced their upcoming debut EP with a brand-new single titled “Queen Of Hearts”.
On this collaboration from the pair, we hear Lo-Wu use his production skills to deliver a smooth garage instrumental which Dips uses to flow over with warming lyrics dedicated to his significant other.
“This is a bouncy but soulful UK Garage slapper for the dances”, Lo-Wu said of the song, “for the BBQs, for the motives in the park, for the baecations, for the nights out and for the loved up nights in.
“I’ve got a feeling people will fall in love this summer in record numbers so we’ve got an anthem to help the mandem with that.”
“Queen Of Hearts” is taken from the duo’s first ever mixtape, Idle Hands, which is due for release on August 12. The project will also feature the previously released “BSL” with Mundu and “The Ride II”.
