The long-awaited Dizzee Rascal vocal track, “Street Fighter”, has finally seen the light of day after a two-decade wait.
Originally slated for inclusion on his iconic album Boy In Da Corner, the song faced clearance issues with Capcom, due to sampling Chun Li’s Ending Theme from the classic video game Street Fighter II. The groundbreaking grime tune pioneered the use of video game samples in the genre and fans can now rejoice, as the track will join a collection of previously unreleased songs on the upcoming 20th anniversary edition of Boy In Da Corner which is set to be released on the 21st of July.
