Dizzee Rascal recollects his early days growing up in Bow and gives insight to renowned American interviewer DJ Vlad into council estate living in London, explaining the similarities to some Americans raised in section 8 housing, drugs and violence were a common occurrence. Dizzee tells DJ Vlad, “There’s a real gun culture in the UK, just for those who don’t know”, and goes on to describe his journey into music.
