DJ Khaled and Reef technology will launch a new delivery-only chicken wing chain that will include 165 sites across three continents – including two sites in London’s Camden and Hornsey.
Another Wing will sell chicken wings, boneless wings, cookies, onion rings, jalapeño cheese fries and more.
The food will be delivered to customers in decorated pink bags and in Miami, diners can order meals from their yachts which will be taken to them via jet ski.
On the wing delivery venture, Khaled said, “Everything I do is big.”
The move comes as more American restaurants plot their move to UK high streets.
Burger chain Wendy’s recently opened in London Stratford and next week, popular chicken chain Popeyes will move into Westfield Stratford City.
Popular chain Chick-Fil-Al also trialled a branch in the Oracle Centre in Reading but the site was not allowed to extend its lease due to protests from the LGBTQIA+ community as the company had supported groups and organisations who Reading Pride campaigners said were hostile to the community.
Popeyes recently went viral thanks to their critically acclaimed chicken sandwich and moving to the UK shores, the brand will compete with KFC, Morley’s, Chicken Cottage, Sam’s and other local chicken shops with its brand of southern menu staples which includes shrimp, biscuits and sandwiches.
