DJ Semtex has returned with another episode of his new podcast, Hip-Hop Raised Me.
Titled after his 2016 book of the same name, Semtex’s new podcast aims to deliver hip-hop fans with “no holds-barred conversations” with some of the genre’s biggest names and in the second episode, he’s joined by the legend Busta Rhymes.
Since emerging with the Leaders of the New School group in the late 80s, Busta has solidified his position as one of the most elite lyricists and his conversation with Semtex is an insightful one between two icons with decades of experience.
During the chat, we hear Busta speak on his latest album Extinction Level Event 2: The Wrath Of God, the new his creative process, his legacy; and he also gives some advice for up and coming artists.
