Following on in the footsteps of his bredrin Wiley, who just released his autobiography, DJ Target has announced that he is set to pen a brand new book.

The legendary DJ and broadcaster has announced Grime Kids, a book detailing the come up and history of his favourite genre and one of the seminal sounds of London. From growing up in Bow, to coming up with Wil and Dizzee, right to the pinnacle grime has reached now, the book is set to cover it all.

Picked up by publishers Trapzeze, Grime Kids has been pencilled in for a June 2018 release. Speaking on the book, Target said,Having been one of the early grime pioneers and witnessing the growth of the culture first hand, I’m over the moon to be able to bring that story to the masses.

“This is a book I feel that the world needs, whether an original grime fan or somebody who is intrigued to know more about the culture. It’s an honour to be working with such an amazing and passionate team in Trapeze/Orion, who share my vision for bringing Grime Kids to a mainstream audience. I can’t wait for the world to read it.”

You can pre-order the book ready for next year right here.
