It has been another groundbreaking week for the scene, in which we saw Krept and Konan sell out Ally Pally. The pair have come on leaps and bounds over the last five years or so, from doing small university gigs to selling out one of the most prestigious venues in the country it has truly been remarkable to watch. Aside from the odd collab, they haven’t treated us to much new music for quite some time. They changed this last week, unleashing “Pour me another one” an ode to the garage classic by Sweet Female Attitude “Flowers”. The track has entered the charts at number 73, but it is almost certain to get a visual accompaniment which will no doubt see it climb up the charts.

Moving up the charts we have the viral smash from Cadet and Deno Driz, “Advice”. The track has climbed three spots to number 37.  A few spots above at number 35, we have a new entry from serial hit makers D Block Europe & Lil Pino with their latest banger “Nassty”. The tune was of course premiered on our channel, be sure to check it out right here if you haven’t already. D Block Europe also had a sold out show this week, at the 02 Academy Islington where they brought out countless big names to share the stage with them.

After an impressive 13 weeks in the charts “Ay Caramba” is still going strong at number 32. The latest track to spawn countless remixes is “Zeze” by Kodak Black featuring heavyweights Travis Scott and Offset. The tune is currently at number eight, take a look right here to see some of the hardest UK versions of “Zeze”. Dave and Fredo’s “Funky Friday” still doing bits at number three, the video is now just shy of ten million views on Youtube.

Smoke Boys (formerly Section Boyz) long awaited return to music has certainly proved fruitful as Don’t Panic 2 has gone straight in at number 60 in the album charts. We premiered the first official video from their long awaited mixtape, check out “Hurry n Buy” right here.

J Hus’s seminal body of work Common Sense has spent more than a year in the album charts. Although criminally the album never placed inside the top five, it’s great to see that the album has not fallen on deaf ears and has been receiving the play that a classic album like this warrants. We haven’t been blessed with anything from The Hustler since Big Spang dropped in June; hopefully 2019 will see this change.
