After a great week in the scene with the fourth Rated Awards taking place in the Eventim Apollo in Hammersmith celebrating the finest the scene has to offer, let’s go straight in and take a look at how these ambassadors have been doing in the charts this week.

Most notably this week is our Legacy Award winner D Double E’s long overdue debut album Jackuum has entered the RnB charts at number three just below the likes of Drake and Eminem. Considering we’ve been hearing plenty of negativity surrounding grime’s mortality, it’s great to see fans putting money where their mouth is and supporting one of the legends in the scene. If you missed our discussion of the album’s importance be sure to have a read right here

Another legend, Eminem dropped a surprise album aptly titled Kamikaze which unsurprisingly goes straight in at number one. On the album, the lyrical firebrand takes aim at several figureheads in the music scene. After what many critics have referred to as a disappointing release with Revival, it is great to see Eminem rapping with some fire in his belly again. His dominance of course extends to the singles charts with various cuts from the album occupying several chart positions, two in particular – “The Ringer” & “Fall” both inside the top ten.

Bugzy Malone’s album B. Inspired is still doing great things despite dropping a few places to number 28, hopefully in the not too distant future Bugzy will treat us to some fresh visuals from the album, having already given us “Drama” and “Run” with Rag ‘n’ Bone Man.

B Young’s banger “079 Me” still inside the top 30 at number 23, climbing up one place. Despite not winning breakthrough at this year’s Rated Awards B Young has had a great year putting out nothing but hits. Hardy Caprio and One Acen another two that have been putting out pure flames this year, and “Best Life” still continues to fly high at number 27.

The highest new entry in the singles chart this week comes from AJ Tracey, with his new banger “Lo(v/s)er”. AJ has become synonymous with slick visuals shooting his latest out in Cuba, the tune has already massed over a quarter of a million views and goes straight in at number 38 check out the slick visuals for yourself right here. Another track that is sure to ascend the heights of the charts in the coming weeks, be sure to check back next week right here on GRM Daily for another definitive chart roundup.
