In a week where Drake and Pusha T embarked in a war of words in one of the most intriguing rap beef we’ve seen in a while, all eyes have been stateside awaiting the next release from one of the pair. Don’t lose focus on the UK however, we’ve got some amazing music and strong contenders making their way up the chart.
The young artist that is EO is still holding on to his top 20 position, at 13 this week, a non-mover from last week and it’s peak position since is debut on the charts eight weeks ago. The endlessly catchy track is still getting plenty of radio play, it’s looking like it might just climb higher still next week. Another track EO features on, along with AJ and Deno entitled “London” has climbed to 67 this week, it’s an impressive achievement by all of the rising stars.
It looks like Dappy is officially back. He’s dropped a new track, “Oh My” featuring Ay Em. Coming through with an afroswing sounds, he’s charted at number 39 this week. It’s good to see him back in the spotlight with a summer banger, more to come from Dappy soon without a doubt.
Elsewhere, the super talented Shakka has teamed up with Alunageorge for “Man Down”, which has charted at number 28 this week, congratulations to them both. Dropping slightly from last week is Yxng Bane with “Vroom”, which is at 34 this week from last week’s 27th position. The countdown has officially begun for Wireless festival, and amongst the whole heap of performers is Ramz who has charted at number 36 this week with “Family Tree”, a jump from last week’s 40. The video was released om GRM Daily, and in case you haven’t seen it yet, have a watch here.
