It was a milestone week this week, we witnessed a drill track chart in the top 20. “Airforce” from DigDat entered the charts back in September but dropped out after six weeks. The reemergence of the track is no doubt due to the remix which we premiered last week that has already amassed 1.4 million views on Youtube, no doubt many of these views are from people trying to catch all the punchlines from K&K. You can check out the remix which also features the likes of K Trap  right here

6ix9ine has had a good week in the charts, he has entered the album charts at number 30 with Dummy Boy after being leaked whilst he was in prison. The 13 track album features the likes of Bobby Shmurda, Kanye West, Lil Baby and Gunna. This is 6ix9ine’s second album to enter the charts this year after Day69 debuted back in March which peaked at number 20. From this album, the highest charting track is “Kika” which features Tory Lanez at number 38.

Elsewhere in the charts, “Funky Friday” from Dave and Fredo is a non-mover at number seven, “ZeZe” from Kodak Black, Offset and Travis Scott is at number eight up two spots and “Advice” is at its highest position yet. The track from Cadet and Deno Driz is at number 28 after ten weeks in the charts. The pair are also at number 71 in the charts which their track “Pumpy” which also features AJ and Swarmz.

AJ Tracey has a new entry in at number 56 with his latest single “Doing It” which only released last week. Could this track climb up the charts and be as successful as “Butterfly” was earlier on in the year? “Broken Homes” which saw worlds collide, as the likes of Nafe Smallz, M Huncho and Gunna Collaborate on wax for the first time drops just outside the top 40, coming in at number 45 this week. Fredo’s “BMT” is at number 55 this week, but more excitingly he announced that his debut album is coming in Feb 2019, entitled Third Avenue; striking while the iron is hot Fredo also announced he will be touring the album straight after it drops.

There are a couple of projects to look out for in the upcoming weeks, Shy FX has released a single with Stamina and Lily Allen called “Roll The Dice” which has had a lot of radio play in the last week. Earl Sweatshirt has released his long awaited album Some Rap Songs, and Meek Mill has released his fourth studio album Championships which is destined for chart domination.
