Doing Numbers: Giggs’ ‘Big Bad’ flies into the top 10

To think that years ago Giggs couldn’t even perform without getting his shows shut down, and now his 5th studio album has gone straight in at number six. This just goes to show just how far Giggs, and the scene as a whole has come. The album isn’t without its individual success stories both “187” & “Baby” have come out as the frontrunners from the 18 track album both hitting up this week’s singles charts.  

Elsewhere on the album charts AJ Tracey’s self-titled debut has slipped a few spots to number 14, still well inside the much coveted top 20. Not far behind are one of the waviest duos in the game, D Block Europe with their latest mixtape Home Alone occupying the this week’s number 17 spot.

NSG and Tion Wayne’s wavey collab “Options” has continued to fly further up the charts scooping the number seven spot after nine weeks in the charts, Jae5’s brilliance on the boards is most certainly the secret to this tracks continued success. Cadet and Deno Driz’s huge hit “Advice” is still inside this week’s top 20 taking the number 18 spot.

D Block Europe’s lead single from Home Alone is still doing bits in the singles chart – Kitchen Kings currently sitting at number 19; while the visuals which we premiered are currently sitting at 3.3 million; check those out right here.

J Cole one of the few mainstream artists who continue to fly the flag for lyricists recently released visuals for his latest drop “Middle Child”, which has seen a resurgence in the charts and moved up seven places to number 21.
