Look around, it’s looking real summery right now. What better way to accompany this beautiful weather than a rundown of summer anthems climbing the charts right now.
Let’s start with EO and his track “German” which gained so much heat upon its release. It’s shot up an incredible 25 places since its debut on the chart last week. If you haven’t caught the visuals for this one be sure to check it out on the GRM Daily channel right here.
Next up is the unstoppable force that is Nines. “I See You Shining” was always going to be a sure fire hit, boasting production credits from the likes of Steel Banglez and Zeph Ellis. The tune comes in just outside the top 40, at 46. With the release of Crop Circles, we’re certain to see more of Nines in the charts.
Mabel and Not3s “Fine Line” is still doing bits after spending 13 weeks in the charts, slipping to number 42, still the perfect tune to fling on while enjoying our first taste of summer. MoStack is still riding high with his latest release “What I Wanna” at number 34. After picking up the Best Mixtape award at last year’s Rated Awards; with such a strong start MoStack looks certain to build on last year’s success.
The latest Yxng Bane track “Vroom” is still doing great things, climbing up to number 32 up four on last week, having spent five weeks in the chart now, we’re sure to see Bane leapfrogging a few more places. “Bad Vibe” the wavy collaboration from M.O Lotto Boyzz and Mr Eazi is another banger that has seen improvement, moving up one spot to number 22. B Young’s hit “Jumanji” has become something of an immovable object on the charts, 15 weeks deep and the tune hasn’t dropped lower than 14, an incredible feat.
The real story of this week’s chart is Loski’s mixtape Call Me Loose has charted, currently at number 44- he’s proved that with a little diversification he’s been able to get a strong footing in the charts-something many of his peers haven’t been able to do thus far. With J Cole and Nines dropping albums we’re sure to see a strong showing from them both in next weeks roundup, keep it locked on GRM Daily for the latest.
