Last week we saw the release of “Broken Homes” and this week it has gone straight in at number 38. This has been a monumental move for the UK scene, showcasing the talent of two of the UKs freshest artists and opening more overseas doors. Nafe Smallz, M Huncho and Gunna have all had huge years, we saw the release of Smallz’s Move Music which you can check out here. M Huncho has been on an unstoppable run with singles and Gunna’s “Drip Too Hard” with Lil Baby was the highlight of the massive Drip Harder project. The “Broken Homes” visuals are currently sitting at 1.2 million views and amazingly have not got one dislike on the video thus far.

On the album charts, Anderson Paak’s eagerly awaited Oxnard has debuted at number 42. Due to the success of his previous two major label offerings expectations for Oxnard were understandably high, unfortunately for Paak many critics feel that the album has missed the mark. Elsewhere on the album charts sees Jess Glynn’s number one album Always in between drop just outside the top ten to number 13. Super producer Jae5 worked on this album, and this becomes the first album that he’s been involved in to take the coveted number one spot, we’re certain that this won’t be the last time we see Jae5’s handiwork at the top of the charts.

Dave and Fredo’s “Funky Friday” is still in the top ten at number seven after seven weeks in the charts. Elsewhere in the charts, Fredo is at number 46 with “BMT”, Fredo took to Instagram live talk about the debut album this week, announcing that it’s coming in the next few months, and that he’s gunning the number one spot once more. If his award winning Tables Turn is anything to go by then fans are really in for a treat.

The rumours have been circulating about Cadet and Deno Driz bringing us a follow up to their viral smash “Advice” which has moved up seven places up to number 30. If the second one is half as successful as the first offering then the pair are certainly on to a winner, and Yxng Bane’s “Needed Time” has slipped a few places to number 55.

More frequently we’re seeing viral stars find success on the charts, Osh is the latest to find success; after his video proclaiming “My Ye is different to your Ye” went viral. Shortly thereafter he was snapped up by a record label landing himself a deal. The single has arrived “My Ye is different” and it has entered the charts at number 92, but it’s definitely a climber! Be sure to check back next week for another definitive chart round up.
