This week in the charts has seen a lot of new entries, one of them being the latest transatlantic collaboration from The Plug Records. The track “How It Is” sees Roody Ricch, Chip and Yxng Bane soar into the number 18 spot. Roddy Ricch is one of the most promising American rappers around at the moment, he was named on this years BBC 1Xtra ‘Hot For’ list. Octavian’s “Bet” which features Michael Phantom has charted at number 51, The remix of the song features Skepta which you can check out here. Nafe Smallz and M Huncho have released their latest track “Like A Film” which has charted at 73. The pair who have collabed before and are sure to climb up the charts with this track. Another wavey collab is Loyle Carner and Jorja Smith; who entered the charts this week at number 62 with their track “Loose Ends”.
Loski has released his highly anticipated Mad Move with has gone straight in at number 41 in the album charts. Another new album this week is Lil Simz with Grey Area which charts at 87 but this is sure to move up the charts over the coming weeks.
Elsewhere in the charts, “Bally” from Swamz and Tion Wayne has climbed 22 places to number 32, this becomes Swarmz’s first top 40 track. Tion Wayne is also in charts with NSG on their track “Options” at number ten after ten weeks in the charts. Giggs is a non-mover at number 53 with “Baby” and has dropped down in the album charts to number 32 with his latest album Big Bad. D Block Europe are still in the charts with “Kitchen Kings” at number 26 and Home Alone is still going strong at number 25 in the album charts.
Mabel has climbed to number 3 with “Don’t Call Me Up”. AJ Tracey is still in the top 20 with his debut self titled album at number 17 which still has two tracks in the charts, the lead track “Psych Out” at number 48 and the Conducta produced “Ladbroke Grove” is at number 81.
Dave’s “Black” has slipped down to number 71 but is sure to climb back up the charts after the release of his new album Psychdrama this week. You can check out our feature of his maddest moments right here.
Devlin has released a new track “Limelight” which is set to chart soon, he is also dropping an album soon so this could be the lead track from it. Fuse ODG has also released a new album New Africa Nation which features Stefflon Don and Ed Sheeran which we are sure to see in the charts very soon.
