Stormzy headlined Glastonbury over the weekend and made history. You can read more about what went down here. The artist dominates the top five this week with “Vossip Bop” not going anywhere at number three and his latest single “Crown” coming straight in at number five giving Stormzy his fifth top ten single.
The track offers listeners a chance to delve into Stormzy’s most honest thoughts and both “Vossi Bop” and “Crown” will be featured on his forthcoming album. You can listen to “Crown” right here on GRM Daily.
JAY1 has achieved his second top 20 single with “Mocking It” coming in at number 19. Like all of his tracks, “Mocking It” has a catchy beat and is full of energy. You can check out the visuals here and you can preorder JAY1’s EP One Wave here which will be released on the 5th of July.
Bugzy Malone and Aitch also have a new track in the charts, “Kilos”, which just makes the top 20 spot. This is the first track to enter the top 20 for both artists and “Kilos” is a big summer hit for the Manchester hailing pair.
Stefflon Don and Lil Baby have released “Phone Down” which enters the charts at number 68 and Russ Splash and Digga D enter the charts at number 28 with their new track “Mr Sheeen”.
Looking elsewhere in the charts, Mabel is at number 13 with “Mad Love” and Drake has made number 15 with “Money In The Grave” which features Rick Ross. Aitch is also at number 27 with Young T and Bugsey with their track “Strike A Pose”.
This week Dappy and Tory Lanez have released their track “Not Today” and G Eazy released his B Sides EP which look set to enter the charts very soon.
